Singapore Summer 2001

Just some shots of the new place.

Mama poses at our favorite table at Trader's Hotel, having an afternoon tea with mango crepe.

From silks to sarongs.  Taken during one of my many shopping trips for gifts back in the U.S.

Caught @ the sleepwear section, attempting to squeeze into a kids' sized pajama top.

The front view of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, the central bank of the country and an important financial center.  I was lucky enough not to work with money or numbers, knowing that I abhor math, but was given work at the information and resource center

Hmm, I believe that the IRC is located on the 18th floor.  I was forced to wake up at 6:30 a.m. for 20 horrible days.  It was a great experience, but I was not used to the morning hours.

Below are scenes of the National Library, where I spent most of those 20 days since I was put into doing research for MAS.
