Jane's Pre-Bday
The funniest thing to cap off the
dinner was discovering that our waiter can speak better Tagalog than us.
He lived with his expatriate family in the Philippines from whenever till he
graduated high school in Bentley.
Oh my GOD, I just realized I could have asked him about my English teacher who
moved to Bentley from Taipei American School!
Olivia does a great job blending in with the monsters from Monsters Inc.
But Thanh and I decided to help her anyway.
Thanh and I miraculously found ourselves at a Korean karaoke bar at the stroke of midnight!
They started karaoke-ing in the car ... first song was happy bday to me.
Olivia and Thanh get their vocals ready, scaring the neighborhood cats.
Afterwards, we could not even talk, so we just gave the cameras our best smiles.
Craig and I in front of the room assigned to us, Iris . . . and I have my hand over throat. Strangle me!
Where our singing scores hit the top of the charts ... decibel charts that is.
