Jane Turns 20!

How I said goodbye to the teenage years forever, surrounded by my closest friends.

"The Ling and I"

After rushing to find orchids for Craig's mother, who coincidentally shares the same birthday with me, Olivia and I decided to have some breakfast.

Many minutes after our last bite, Ling, the girl I saw a handful of times this quarter, came into the cafeteria.

Career Woman and Working Girl

In between interrogating Ling about careers and job opportunities, I played with this highly static-charged balloon.

We became too attached, so I took it home.

Trying to play ball

Static balloon gives Olivia a goodbye kiss on the cheek.

but ball played us.

Plan A: Go to this place called Pasta Bowl, which the map said was close to the Belmont Red line stop.  Turned out to be six blocks farther than anticipated.

Plan B: Simply go into an interesting-looking Italian restaurant called Buca, which advertised its sanitary restrooms.

Allan & Bri with their best poses.

We stumbled into a gorgeous restaurant, perfect for celebrating events.  The menu startled me @ first since the entrees were priced $20.  Later discovered they're family servings.

John gives Olivia a facelift and Amanda just smiles.

Decided on just two entrees and an appetizer.  Chicken parmesan and some button-like pasta that tasted great.  The waiter was also good at his job.

Allan & Bri said grace in the midst of smiling faces.

Before we walked a block (finding Pasta Bowl), Brian and John came running towards us and they gave me this piece of brownie with a candle.  Although a meager birthday cake, I was thrilled to have one.

In addition, they gave me rice candy, lychee, and nerds.

Blowing out the teenage years.

Yup, this is my brownie.  Checked to see if Bri and John injected it with anything.

It was clear, but I wonder about my hyperness afterwards.

He was a good waiter, but not a good photo-taker.
