After rushing to find orchids for Craig's mother, who coincidentally shares the same birthday with me, Olivia and I decided to have some breakfast. Many minutes after our last bite, Ling, the girl I saw a handful of times this quarter, came into the cafeteria. |

In between interrogating Ling about careers and job opportunities, I played with this highly static-charged balloon. We became too attached, so I took it home. |

Plan A: Go to this place called Pasta Bowl, which the map said was close to the Belmont Red line stop. Turned out to be six blocks farther than anticipated. Plan B: Simply go into an interesting-looking Italian restaurant called Buca, which advertised its sanitary restrooms. |

We stumbled into a gorgeous restaurant, perfect for celebrating events. The menu startled me @ first since the entrees were priced $20. Later discovered they're family servings. |

Decided on just two entrees and an appetizer. Chicken parmesan and some button-like pasta that tasted great. The waiter was also good at his job. |

Before we walked a block (finding Pasta Bowl), Brian and John came running towards us and they gave me this piece of brownie with a candle. Although a meager birthday cake, I was thrilled to have one. In addition, they gave me rice candy, lychee, and nerds. |
